I remember worrying about how long it was taking as a family talked with other family members in another country to decide whether or not to accept EI services. I wanted the child&#039;s services to start right away, but this wasn&#039;t really up to me.  The light bulb eventually went on that this was absolutely necessary for them to make decisions for their child and all I needed to do was document the reason for the delay in developing the IFSP. I didn&#039;t need to stress about this - instead, I needed to support the family and be sure not to impose my feelings on them or rush their decision-making process.]]></description>
