Does a day go by when you\u00a0don’t\u00a0have a question about the work you do??\"Comment<\/p>\n

The willingness to learn, try new things, be flexible, and adjust to each family’s priorities and environments are all must-have skills for early interventionists. With each new family you meet, each new IFSP outcome, and each new colleague who joins your team, there are always questions.<\/p>\n

I hope you have people around you who support you because, honestly, the work of early intervention is not always easy. Being able to pick other people’s brains is one of the greatest resources you can have. Some of you might work in an environment where you have access to lots of resources and colleagues, and others of you might work in small programs where resources and support are scarce. I’ve worked in both kinds of programs, and I remember what it was like to want to ask someone for ideas.<\/p>\n

To help you do just that, we’ve added a new feature to our blog!<\/h2>\n

This new feature,\u00a0Strategies Q&A<\/a>, is a place where you can ask questions about early intervention practices and professional development. You can follow the link above, or you can find the link on any page in the ribbon under the blog title. Here’s how it works: submit a question at the bottom of the Q&A page and it will go into a\u00a0queue to be moderated. If the question fits with the purpose of the blog (meaning that the question focuses on practical strategies, professional development or other\u00a0information relevant\u00a0to EI), then we will try to find an answer. Once we have an answer, the question and answer will be published on the Q&A page. You can scroll through questions that have already been posted too. Eventually, once we have a wider selection of questions and answers, they\u00a0will be categorized to make it easier to search.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, through this Q&A, we can support each other because you know that if you have a question, chances are that someone else is wondering the same thing too!<\/p>\n
